Lighting for Home and Small Professional Studios Seminar |
Seminar Description
Our lighting seminar is a fast paced day of lecture and hands on photographic lighting. Students will have the opportunity to be the photographer by setting up and adjusting the positions of strobes as well as taking photographs during the demonstrations. Students will take turns being the photographer and model, students may also bring a model or two if space permits. If you would like to bring a model you MUST email us first to confirm that there is space. Although we will cover the how to's of lighting, we also keep this seminar relatively non-technical. We will use studio lighting equipment for most of the demonstrations to save time but we will explain how you can substitute camera flashes for studio strobes and continuous lights (hot lights).
|
Topics Include
- Using a single strobe, flash or continuous lighting unit (Hot light) for lighting.
- Multiple strobes flash or continuous lighting units (Hot lights) for lighting..
- Even lighting.
- Uneven lighting.
- "Beauty" lighting.
- Hard and soft lighting.
