Photography Course and Seminar Information |
General Course Information
We offer Individual Lessons, Group Lessons and Seminars covering just about every aspect of photography from the most basic how to use a camera class to advanced techniques. Our classes are small most have 8 - 12 students, the classroom atmosphere is relaxed and less structured than a typical school class which allows us to be flexible and better meet the needs of our students. Most classes are based on years of "real world" professional photographic experience, and are not textbook driven. The dates and times for our courses and seminars are on the detailed description page for each course and seminar. We also maintain a waiting list and contact those who are on the list by email about 30 days before the starting date for classes. To be added to the waiting list for one or more classes please e-mail us include the following information.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for all of our courses and seminars. Our gift certificates may be used at any time and our courses and seminars run all year so if the currently posted scheduled dates, please contact us for the most up to date schedule. Registration
We email the entire waiting list with the dates and times for upcoming courses and seminars as soon as we schedule them which is usually prior to the schedule being made available to the general public. The class sizes are limited and to be fair, registration is accepted on a "first come first served" basis which is determined by the order we receive the Registration Forms and payment. In the event of Registration Form and payment being received after the course is full, we will contact you with your options. We do understand that a student may miss classes for any number of unavoidable reasons, in these cases the student will be offered the opportunity to make up the missed class(es) the next time the course is offered or when scheduling permits in a makeup class with other students who need to makeup the same class.
Class Locations
Most classes are held in Springdale at our office and studio located at 230 Northland Blvd., Cincinnati, OH 45246. Some classes are held "on location" in various parks, local landmarks, buildings, etc. in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Some courses are a combination of "classroom" work in Springdale and "on location" work in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Certain courses for businesses, law enforcement, clubs, and other groups may be held at your location.

"...I had second thoughts about taking a beginners class . Having taken several introductory classes before, & considering myself to be an advanced armature, I figured it would be mainly wasted time . I took the class mainly to get my wife into a classroom setting in as much as she would not go alone . When they say that it is an introductory and intermediate class they mean it .The notes and info printouts that you get are second to none. The basics are presented in a manner that is quickly and easily understood, & then they move on to a more advanced hands on approach as they address each of the basics. When I would have a question of a more advanced level, they welcomed it, and as they clarified it they would gently bring the class along so they could understand it also .
So to summarize unless you are completely familiar with all the magic your camera can perform , and you know all there is to know about flash and all its tricks , by all means take the class , you will learn a good deal."...

"WOW!! I learned so much and it is all useful in the real word. I've gone to Seminars, taken other classes and never had a teacher who actually cared about the students learning and what a knowledgeable teacher. I no longer feel like I wasted a lot of money on Photoshop because I can retouch my photos and have them look better when I am finished".
